    RSS 2.0 checks

    The validator requires an <rss version="2.0"> root, one channel, and non-empty channel title, link, and description elements. Each item needs at least a title or description.

    It also checks absolute links, publication dates, GUID behavior, duplicate identifiers, and enclosure URL, byte length, and MIME type. Namespaced extensions remain allowed.
